‘Mortality’ (2010) exhibition review

Directed to enter and exit the exhibition at specific points, the audience was firmly led through a thoroughly compartmentalised exhibition design, itself inspired by Erikson’s stages of life. The initial spaces typifying early life were small and confined, expanding into larger and larger spaces symbolic of the energetic middle phases, only to return to a smaller, darkly claustrophobic space depicting death. – Kelly Fliedner
